PRIDE WAVE CFR UD MATT / PRIDE CONTROL WHEELSET
After extensive research and development for the French brand, Pride Racing offers you a pair of rigid and lightweight wheels. Lightness and rigidity are two factors that are generally opposed, yet the result of these wheels proves that the challenge is met!
The Pride Wave CFR rim was created and developed exclusively for BMX Race. It is a new exclusive design from Pride Racing, including a square reinforcement at each spoke head, allowing for higher spoke tension for superior wheel rigidity. The Wave rim is constructed from Toray T700 carbon and features a very low profile to reduce wind resistance and optimize rigidity. Weighing less than 300g each, it becomes one of the lightest rims on the market, a real asset on the track!
For the hubs, the wheelset is equipped with Pride Control hubs featuring their 6/60 system, well-known for its 180 points of engagement, all coupled with a CNC machined body in 6061-T6 aluminum.
Hubs that accompany most of the top riders today. A gold medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics with Bethany Shriever in 2021, a first place in the 2022 World Cup in Glasgow with Jérémy Rencurel. These Pride Control hubs are extremely effective when it comes to performing on the track.
NOTES
The 20mm front axle is not included. The rear wheel comes with a lock ring and spacers to adjust the chain line.
